I can only sign into 1 of the nComputing pods.
I can only sign into 1 nComputing pod at a time. If I sign into another, it kicks the forst one off.
One of two things will cause this issue. 1) You are signed on with the same user account on all computers or 2) A Windows update has caused the problem and needs to be removed.
1) To use the nComputing pods, you can not sign on with the same user account. If a staff, use your own login; if a student, use your individual login. In the case where generic accounts must be used, add the number 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 to the name. We have created multiple generic accounts for this reason.
Example: If User 1 is signed on with testnav1, then user 2 needs to sign on with testnav2. We are in the process of labeling each station so you don't have to guess if the computer next to you is signed on as 1,2,3, or 4 if you have to use the generic accounts.
2) If the above steps do not solve the problem, then most likely a blocked Windows udpate slipped through and needs to be removed. Please follow the steps below or put in a workorder if you're not comfortable doing the following.
Login with a teacher login account
Click Start-->Control Panel-->Programs & Features
Click the link in the left sidebar that says "View Installed Updates"
In the "Search" box, type KB3003743. Find the update with that name in the list below, and click the "Uninstall" link.
